When you do a shopping for the pool cover pump, don’t just go with cheaper ones as they tend to break easily or won’t last long. The best choice is by listening to what others say, and mostly their brand name was already established and has been in the market for a while.
i have a problem with my rule 1800 pool pump. sometimes it works; most times it doesn’t. i need help thanks.
I have A Economy A5020 That runs and stops ,if I had tap it a few times it will run for a while then stop again. Are there repair kits for this type of equipment I hate to just throw it out.
how do i buy a new filter and filter holder for my a5025 cover pump
You really need a swimming pool cover pump that automatically shuts off, so it will not overheat and become damaged by warped plastic, and you can leave it running overnight safely in a heavy rainstorm. The pool cover pumps without automoatic shutoff will require frequent attention and will become damaged by overheating when the water level drops below the motor level and so there is no water cooling. Therefore, please advise your customers of this issue and also advise them of the most reasonable automatic shutoff pool cover pumps.
Where can I buy a leaf filter for a Rule 1800 pool cover pump? Thanks.
I am looking for an inexpensive side discharge 115v pump with automatic on off float control.
RULE PUMP JUNK !!! LIFE 2-4 MONTH .STILL WAITING FOR REPLACEMENT FROM RULE (4 WEEKS BY NOW) DON’T BUY
Where can I purchase replacement filters for my Cover Care Pool Cover Pump 500 gph?
I have used the Little Giant with auto shut off and strainer shield for years. We have lots of dirty oak trees so the water gets quite dirty in the spring but this works quite well, even when clogged with debris. What it needs is a side discharge which will reduce kinking of the discharge lawn hose since mine has a top or verticle discharge opening. It is also somewhat difficult to clean small debris out since it gets trapped between the strainer shield and the bottom of the pump. To remove the strainer, you have to remove 4 stubborn vinyl or plastic screws on the base. I like the idea that the pump only turns on when the water level reaches a depth of a couple of inches, allowing us to leave the pump connected during the winter and spring rainy seasons. The Rule pump makes no sense to me as it cycles on every 2.5 minutes to check water depth/resistance and means the pump is running briefly up to 600 times per day, a recipe for a short motor life in my mind. TT
I’ve purchased 2 rule pumps and both of them died within 6 months of purchase. These things are serious junk.
I have pruchased 2 of the Rule pumps in the past 3 years one lasted 2 winters the last only lasted one i will never ever go that route again …so i purchased the little giant apcp 1700 and it is a work horse its awesome it has lasted now two years with no isues so hopefully it will last a long time and it has a 3 year warranty on it rather than 1 year like the rule…Please do yourself a favor dont buy the rule it really is junk…
I have purchased 2 Rule pumps within 3 years……both died. Stay away from the products of this company, if you want quality product, you may want to go with Little Giant or something else..
