Plumbing, Heating and Pool Repair Guides

The Wet Head Media Team

You might have expected some really corporate looking “team” page with maybe some fancy slogans or some inspirational message that make you feel nice, but that’s not what you will find here.

In fact you will just find a bunch of normal hard working blue collar men and women that make this all possible. The people below have contributed to this website in some way.  You can read more about each of the people below.

Joseph AKA “WeT Head  has been working in the either swimming pool, plumbing, heating and pump field since 1992. Here is a picture of him working on an in ground swimming pool system with a heat pump.

  6. Joseph and company. Great content.
I have a Hayward Power Flo Matrix pump supporting a Hayward D.E. Filter and into an AquaCal heat pump for a 24 X 4 round pool. Installed June 2015. Overall pool environment is very clean. Pool is in north east PA. Fully closed around Oct 1st and reopened approx: early May.
Have had no major issues over the years.
Just pulled “fingers” on filter to clean. Believing loss of pressure was due to filter needing to be cleaned. Pressure had dropped to about 8 psi.
Reinstalled DE filter element. Restarted. Filter pressure is only reading 10 psi. There is a noticeable loss of pressure on pool return.

Have done all troubleshooting on pump. impeller good. Rechecked intake flow. No issues.
There is a noticeable “metallic” humming coming from pump. Have not initiated to pull pump apart or check capacitor. Ideas?
Help! I have no problem paying for your services over the phone.
    Thank-you
