EdenPURE Heater Review
Maybe you have seen the late night infomercial or maybe you have seen an ad online but one thing is for sure and that is the EdenPURE System is one quickest rising products. More and more people are using the EdenPURE System to heat their homes. The EdenPURE System is an exceptional space heater. By using an EdenPURE Heater you can guarantee that your heating bills will be reduce by at least 50%.
Once you read all about this heater you can also check out the Iheater Infrared Portable Heater which is also another type of heater that may help you lower your heating bills and keep your home warm. Many space heaters cause fires every year but with the EdenPURE Heater, it is safe due to the new Quartz Infrared Heating System. This system will never allow the heater to reach temperatures that are capable of starting fires. But the EdenPURE Heating System is one of the safest space heaters on the market today.
The EdenPURE Heater only gets a bit warm on the outside of the unit. It will never get hot, so it is safe enough to have with pets and small children. In addition to providing a great heating system, the EdenPure System can also help with your health. With other heating units like furnaces and other space heaters they tend to cause dry skin and they dry out the sinuses causing bloody noses.
There are 2 different models of the EdenPURE Heaters. The GEN3 Model 1000 and the Gen3 Model 500. The Model 1000 offers a Front Panel Push Button Controls, an ABS Co-Polymer Cabinet, which helps protect the heater. The design itself is made from galvanized steel on the inside and the outside is made from a polypropylene shell. The unit is compact with 17″ in height, 13″ wide and 18″ in depth. This unit is rated for about 5000 Btu’s, 1483 amps and 12.5 amps.
The GEN3 Model 1000 works with a IR Remote Control and can heat up to 1000 square feet. It does have a filter that needs to be cleaned periodically but it can be cleaned with warm water or even a vacuum hose. The filter is removed easily from the back of the unit and can be reinstalled just as easily. The GEN3 Model 500 offers a heating capacity of 2300 Btu’s and 300 square feet. The design of the GEN3 500 is made with a polypropylene outside and a galvanized steel inside. This will prolong the life of the heater on both the inside and the outside. The unit has a temperature adjustment panel that is easy to locate at the back of the unit. The unit works with a manual on and off switch and has a Copper Heat Exchanger. These units are made to conserve energy and save you money on your heating bills.
One of the best features about the EdenPURE System is that they can heat the room evenly. Most space heaters only heat the area surrounding the heater. But EdenPURE circulated the heat to work from wall to wall and from floor to ceiling. There are no cold spots with this heating system.
This system is quickly becoming the best selling heating system and air purifier in the industry. One of benefits of using the EdenPURE System is that it is able to heat more than one room at a time. You don’t even have to place the heater in the middle of the room as you do with most other heaters. You can use the EdenPURE system in the corner or the room or near a wall and you will still get the maximum efficiency from the heater. But the amount each room gets will depend on how much space is available in each room. The EdenPURE System is perfect for heating all rooms in the house but it is not recommended for use in the bathroom or laundry room because of the amount of moisture that is used in these rooms.
One of the best parts of this product is that it can last about 10 years. Most space heaters do not have a life of more than 5 years or so. You are getting a great product that can actually save you money. Everyone who has tried these units has had nothing but great things to say. The main compliment is that the heating capacity is excellent. EdenPURE is not available ins stores yet but you can order online. The company offers a one-year warranty and a full factory warranty. If you want to save money on your heating bills and you want to improve the air quality in your home then look no further, you want to invest in an EdenPURE System. You will happy you did.
The Eden Pure Gen 3 SUCKS. I have had this heater running 24/7 and it will NOT keep a 500 sq. ft room at a constant temp. I have followed the instructions to the “T” but it just will not keep the heat. I have 3 associates that purchased these rip-offs and NONE..not ONE…does as it says. Of course the company will not let us return them as the 30 day policy is up…(who of us were going to use them in the fall as it was not cold enough).
Suffice it to say that after running this constantly for the last 3 months I have had to use my furnace as I normally would have WITHOUT this heater.
Stay away…it is a true scam
OH and by the way…the Eden pure I purchased says it will heat up to a 1000 sq ft room!
For around $20 you can get a perfectly adequate heater. EdenPURE is selling hype and hope. Most of their claims are either misleading or incorrect.
As far as Paul Harvey goes, he will sell what he is paid to sell.
DO NOT BUY ANY OF THESE HEATERS ,NOT ONLY DO THEY NOT HEAT THEY ALSO LIE ABOUT REFUND THEY DO NOT REFUND .. ON THE PHONE THE PERSONNEL HAS APPARENTLY BEEN TOLD TO TELL BUYER A RETURN LABEL WILL BE SENT AND YOU WAIT DAYS AND WHEN YOU CALL BACK THE NEXT PERSON TELL YOU THE SAME AND THE A MONTH LATER GUESS WHAT ? …YOUR 6O DAYS HAVE LAPSE . I RAISED SO MUCH HECK I FINALLY HAD A RETURN CALL FROM MARY GUESS WHAT? AFTER TELLING ME HOW TO RETURN THE 2 SORRY HEATERS, THEY RETURN THEM BACK TO ME AND WANT TO GIVE ME CASH COUPONS($150.00) OFF ON 2 MORE HEATERS …THESE PEOPLE ARE JOKES ..PLEASE CONSUMERS DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE. THE PICTURES ON THE BROCHURE IS ALSO A JOKE ..IT STAND ABOUT 12”X15”(THE GEN3)
We had the same problem with this product but we disputed out credit card and got our money back.
After using the Eden Pure Heater I was impressed and very satisfied with the unit. In fact it helped me save $100.00 on my heating bills every month. I would suggest the Eden Pure heaters to anyone I know and I have done so. Many of my friends own them, my parents and my sister have one….even my grandparents have bought the units and like them. All I did was turned the heat up til the room I was living in reached my desired temperature, then turned the thermostat down 12 degrees, turned on the Eden Pure and wa la….the Eden Pure kept the room I was living in comfortable and cozy! Then when I went to sleep I just wheeled the unit down to my bedroom and it kept me comfortable all night. Best of all I have a young daughter and I don’t have to worry about her getting burnt by the unit or knocking it over and starting a fire. In my opinion…these units are GREAT! No complaints from this happy customer!
P.S. I own the Gen3 1000 and a Fireplace unit. :) Thank you Eden Pure…we love your product!
Eden PURE is not some new and revolutionary product, it’s been around for years. I first encountered it 30 years ago at a RV Mobile Home show a the university of Notre Dame, marketed by a company out of Peoria Illinois. We explored the possibility of distributing the heater then called The Infer Molecular Heater, and was invited to visit the companies headquarters in Illinois. They had a very impressive facility to demonstrate the heater and a very slick sales pitch, but they did not manufacture the unit but contracted out the manufacturing. With few exceptions it was identical to the Eden PURE but had 4 inferred lights and a steel plate with nails welded on inside.
Before we committed to a distributorship we ordered 25 heaters to run our own tests. To say the heaters were a failure was a gross under statement. In a cold home four heaters ran for three days and raised the temperature only 2 degrees. They would maintain 70 degrees in a small room that had been heated to 70 degrees but would not increase the temperature. After conferring with a teaching Ph’d Professor of physics at a major university who explained that the light bulbs and a small fan would accomplish the same results at a fraction of the cost. After running over 15 tests, of witch only 2 showed any mediocre positive results, it was our conclusion that a $30 of the shelf heater would accomplish equal results. The consensus of all of our people involved in the testing was that it was a well packaged and promoted high priced fraud.
idk iam so scared to buy a eden pure now.
poor bob villa! endorses it! what was he thinking!
iam not going to bu one.
sounds like a crazy product & i bet the good reviews are from people who work for the company! lol.
yea i think i will keep my money!!

EdenPure is lying about several things.
-The infomercial I saw tonight (11/14/09) shows an inexpensive electric heater on screen as it is explained how other heaters rob the air of oxygen and put out toxic fumes. This is a blatant lie when it comes to electric heaters as there is no combustion which is required to burn oxygen; fumes also come only from a combustion heater. Anyone using such a heater in their house could be in danger of asphyxiation unless properly installed to vent combustion fumes to the outside.
-The EdenPure unit is 1500 watts and puts out appx 5000 BTUs but all electric heaters are 100% efficient so the claim (explicit or implied) that the EdenPure puts out more heat is another lie.
-They also make a claim that the EdenPure heats evenly whereas much of the heat from other heaters rises to the ceiling. I have no idea how there could be any difference between the EdenPure any other electric heaters unless fans are used to circulate the air; a ceiling fan might be best.
-The cost for the EdenPure is a minimum of 4 to 10 times greater than other 1500 watt heaters one can buy at Wal-Mart or Sears.
-The EdenPure is a ripoff and is sold by lying to and duping people who didn’t pay attention in 9th grade science class.
-I would love to see the principals involved in EdenPure products put in jail or at least fined into bankruptcy through legal action by state attorneys generals and even the FTC.
-I can be reached at borisn96v – at – gmail.com – just in case someone selling this product actually believes the lies EdenPure told them might be just stupid enough to challenge what I have written.
Regards, Boris

Kathy, if you have electric heat units on the walls with thermostats in each room, then I think it is safe for me to say that you have bought a redundant unit. Electric heat is 100% efficient and it doesn’t matter whether it comes from a $15 heater or built-in electric registers along the walls. As far as your house staying warm, one would have to know what the outside temp is, how much the built-in system is contributing and other factors. If you have a forced-air electric system, then you could save money by turning down the thermostat and heating an individual room (and maybe a bit on the blower-motor electric usage). But if the house is staying the same temperature regardless of which system is contributing the btu’s, then you won’t really save any money. It does seem odd that the whole house could be at an even temperature if only the EdenPure is on. Either you have a very small house, maybe super-insulated or the outside temperature is not very cold. Another possibility here is that you are a dealer but…I will give the benefit of the doubt since it is very easy to be pulled in by the hype and hope that smooth advertisers perpetrate over the airwaves in a deliberate attempt to deceive.
I PURCHASED THE GEN 3 EDENPURE HEATER JUST THIS WK. I TURNED IT ON FULL POWER THEN WHEN THE HOUSE WAS WARM TURNED IT DOWN TO A LITTLE MORE THAN HALF POWER. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED THE HOUSE (8 ROOMS) WAS THE SAME TEMP THE NEXT MORN. 73 DEGREES. I AM WATCHING TO SEE WHAT MY ELEC BILL WILL BE THIS MONTH. IT USUALLY RUNS 270.00 I HAVE ELEC HEAT.
AND A HEAT PUMP. I USUALLY HAVE TO KEEP IT SET ON 70′ JUST TO KEEP MILDLY WARM. WE’LL SEE. SO FAR SO GOOD. IT WOULD BE WORTH THE MONEY.

BORIS AND OTHERS.
I HAVE AN ELECTRIC FURNACE AND HEAT PUMP. I HAVE A RANCH HOUSE 8 ROOMS. OPEN FLOOR PLAN. IT IS INSULATED VERY GOOD. I AM STILL PLEASANTLY SURPRISED ABOUT THE EDENPURE. APPARENTLY YOU HAVE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE COMPANY. THAT IS TOO BAD. I USUALLY GIVE EVERYONE A CHANCE . I WILL SEE ABOUT MY ELECTRIC BILL. MY NEICE HAS ONE IN HER BASEMENT, AND SHE LOVES IT. TO EACH HIS OWN.GOOD DAY
I have owned the 1000XL for a little over a year. The first season it did fairly well. Got it out this year and the fan motor went out. I ordered and replaced motor with squirrel cage fan. Checked it before I put the sides on and discovered two of the quartz bulbs were out. Have them ordered. The motor was a bear to get in. My consenus is-don’t waste your money on these heaters. They are junk. The fan motor is very weak and fragile.
I have always been very skeptical concerning the infrared heaters. My parents recently have become very hyper excited about them as they have been taken in by their commercials. They even sent me one as an early Christmas gift. Their excitement was a result of the savings that they have received in their heating bills. They live in New Mexico in a house trailer. Their source of heat has always been LP gas. It runs them $600.00 a month in LP gas plus the $100.00 it causes on their electric bill just to heat their home. With two EdenPURE heaters running and only one of them part time their heating cost has only been $160.00 for heating. No LP gas has been used! The savings for one month has already more than paid for one of those heaters. The outside temperatures have averaged 37 during the day and around 4 degrees at night. They keep a humidifier going at all times which increases the warmth and efficiency of these heaters.
These heaters in my experience, which has been short, is that the warmth is very different than any other space heaters that I have used. The warmth seems to go to everywhere in the room. I only use my gas heat at night and run my EdenPURE during the day. I haven’t had it long enough to see what my savings is going to be. I have my doubts that it will be as much as my parants, because I use natural gas, which is cheaper than the LP. But natural gas has increased in price so much in my area that electric at this point would be cheaper. The heater that I am using is the GEN3 EdenPURE 1000.
It seems that using these heaters is very hit and miss as to the success that one gets. Utilities are different in their cost in different parts of the country. And costs are different in what source one actually uses to heat their home. Savings are going to vary from one person to another. How tight your house is and the humidity is another factor.
I have been impressed.
I bought an edenpure heater about 4 years ago. I guess I have been lucky. I have had success with it. Daughter has a very large bedroom upstairs with inadequate heating. I like to keep the house about 65 degrees and the heat never seems to reach up there. She keeps it so warm it actually nauseates me. I guess most people would call it quite toasty. I think I bought this particular heater because I thought it would be safe and that is very important to me. Although I know it is probably costing me a bundle because it is just additional heating and does not replace any heat I have been quite pleased with this heater. A lot of people will write when something does not work. I think less people will write when they are satisfied and I wanted to say there is a working unit out there. I am looking for suplemental heating for our main floor and although I am happy with this heater I am not buying another. I do not like what I have heard about the problems people have had when their units do not work or when they do not like the heater and want to send it back. Although this unit has worked well for me I will not be taking a chance with another. Edenpure is outta luck. I guess they don’t think about repeat buyers. They probably feel they are only going to sell 1 unit per customer and once they get their money thats it.
Does anyone no how much it raises the electric bill per month
It depends on the rates where you live. My parents live in New Mexico and theirs is averaging around $108.00 per heater running it 24 hours a day. Which is what I figured for them. I live in another state. I think the average is around $00.15 an hour. For them it was a very big savings.
