Liberty Pumps 230 Series Submersible Sump Pump

There are 4 different models in the 230 Series Pump, the Model 230 is a manual pump that no switch, the Model 231 has a quick disconnect and a wide angle float and they pump is mercury free. Model 233 has a wide-angle float and is Mercury Free with a series plug, which provides the pump to be on manual operation. The Model 237 VMF has a magnetically operated pump for smaller pit depths. The motor specifications on these pumps are the same no matter which model pump you have. They all work on a 1/3 horsepower, 115 volts, 3450 rotations per minute (rpm), 5.2 amps and the motors are oil filled and thermally protected. The maximum fluid temperature of the fluid temperature is 140 degrees Fahrenheit. All pumps have Vortex style impellers; these impellers allow the passage of solids through the pump without the pump clogging. The pumps have a stainless steel rotor shaft. All of the fasteners have a non-corrosive stainless steel coating. As we mentioned the motor is an oil filled motor, which means that you are going to have to keep an eye on the oil levels like a car. If there is no oil in the motor it will seize and depending on how long the motor has been running without oil, the motor will seize just like a car and at that point you may need a new motor. All Series 230 have a quick disconnect with a 10 foot standard power cord that lets the replacement cord be installed in seconds if there is ever a problem. This is good news; it means that your system will be down for seconds rather than minutes or hours. The pumps also have an easy to remove base that will permit suction to go down to about 1/8 of an inch. The pump itself is coated with a polypropylene and powder coated aluminum. This is designed to protect the pump from the waste that travels through the pumps as well as the contaminates that surround the pump while it is in the pit. The 230 Series is a compact pump that weighs only about 11 pounds. The height of the pump is 10.5 inches and a major width of 9.6 inches. The minimum amount of a sump oil diameter that these pumps can fit through is 14 inches but only 10 inches on the Model 237. Though the 230 Series has 4 models, each one is built with the same quality parts and the same design that enables more and more waste to pass through the system. The old pumps and even some pumps today get clogged or the bearings seize up but Liberty Pumps 230 Series work with the best technological designs that engineers have come up with making sure that Liberty Pumps meet your needs.
