i have triton II 60 sand Filter and broke the spigot sand drain and cannot get it out, nothing left on nut, can i use some type of easyout, eveything is very brittle except for the threads, have all of the sand out and tried pliers from inside to get it to free up and it won’t budge, any help will be appreciated

I replaced all orings all pump parts and multiport checked all fittings and hoses all are not leaking. my problem with this hayward pump and sand filter is the prime it doesn,t keep prime. I get the strainer filled with water it churns over for about 30 seconds then the prime kicks in and sucks all water out of strainer and i have no prime again. Could you give me some other checks that i missed, i even have a hayward dealer stumped. thanks lou
