I see I am not the only one that had the same luck in dealing with Meyco. 3 yr old cover with one 8 inch tear on the seam that they wont cover under the warranty.Then when you get the cover back in mid November there are two repairs and a bill. And I also want to thank them for leaving the springs off they were lots of fun putting back on.I will not be sending anyone to Meyco in the future.

NOT ONLY IS THE PRODUCT AND WARRANTY GARBAGE, TRY DEALING WITH THE PERSONEL. WE DROPPED OUR COVER OFF IN THE SPRING FOR AS THEY CALLED IT, MAJOR REPAIRS. WE HAD NOT HEARD FROM THEM AFTER THREE MONTHS. THEY CLAIMED THAT THEY TRIED TO REACH US AND LEFT A MESSAGE BECAUSE THE ESTIMATED COST WOULD BE HIGHER. WE ASKED WHEN THEY CALLED, AS I HAVE EVERY PHONE BILL THAT RECORDS EVERY IN COMING AND OUT GOING CALL. THEY ALL OF SUDDEN CHANGED THEIR TUNE AND SAID THAT THEY THOUGHT THEY CALLED. WE WERE TRYING TO GET THE POOL CLOSED AT THAT TIME, AND THEY THEN PUT US AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LINE. APPROX. SIX WEEKS LATER MY HUSBAND CALLED AND WAS TOLD BY A MANAGER THAT THE COVER WAS READY AND TO COME GET IT. HE DROVE FORTY MILES ONE WAY, ONLY TO FIND THAT THE COVER WAS NOT EVEN LOOKED AT SINCE THE FIRST EVALUATION BACK IN THE SPRING. THE MANAGER COULD NOT ANSWER AS TO WHY THE COVER WAS NOT FIXED WHEN HE HIMSELF SAID IT WAS. HE JUST SHRUGGED HIS SHOULDERS!! GOOD LUCK TO ANYONE WHO PURCHASES THIS PRODUCT.

In reference to toms problem with warranty. Why did he have to pay $418. Dollars if there is a 12 year warranty??

Tom, this is a standard practice for pool cover companys. LoopLoc does the same thing.

I purchased a Meyco safety cover 3 yrs ago and it is already tearing in 5 places. I sent it back for warranty work and they want 418.00 to replace the torn panels or will place patches on it for free. This is a piece of junk for the money. Don’t buy Meyco. The warranty is worthless.

We bought one of these with hesitancy initially because of the price but this is the first pool cover that has lasted through a hard winter without any problems. All the straps/pull downs held tight, the ponding in the center was minimal and using the leaf blower was easy to keep it clean. What dirt and debri that stayed on it we just pressure sprayed it off.

Not a whole lot of fading either so we feel our purchase was a good one.
