Our above ground pool (24 ft) is this nast green color with no visibility to the bottom of the pool. We live in east TX and the temp and humidity stays fairly high. The test strips say that the harness is low, total and free chlorine 0, ph is very high approx 8.4, and alkalinity is very high ataroun 240, cya is ideal at around 30-50. The pool place says i need to shock, floc and then vacuum out to waste. I hate the thought of wasting so much water though. Is there any way to clear up the pool without flocing and vacuuming to waste?

In reply to Nicole. Pool First Aid..bought it at Leslie's Pool Supplies. I will work wonders on your pool. I recommend this product to anyone. Our pool was brown and after 2 days it was clear.
