It helped alot. I just had my well pump replaced, to find out that power was not getting there. The power was replaced, and the water softener was serviced next. (Novice-I did not know that all of the components worked hand in hand.) The new plumber said the bladder was bad. The Well-Mate tank is 8 years old. It is nearly impossible to know who to trust. I have had 3 water professionals at my house and they all said different things.
“1) To remove the pump, you have to pull out many 21 foot sections of pipe until you reach the pump.
2) To remove the pump, you need a truck. It is too wet there, and we are too old to remove it by hand.
3) Two guys can just pull the pump out.
The latest guy said that there was a leak in the pipe from the well to the house. I guess I will not move on the tank/piping issue until I really NEED to.
