Just purchased a hayward super pump series sp2607X10, 1 h.p. Water was leaking from the bottom of the pump. There was a small square hole and water continued to run out, never connected to power due to the water running out. There was no plug for this hole.

Hi Gail – Have you gotten an answer for this? I have the same problem with a “pulsing” pressure variation. My pump bounces down to zero PSI after climbing to 5-7 PSI again and again. I have no air leaking into the suction lines. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The pump will not prime. It happened after I vacuumed the pool by hand in wash mode after a hurricane to get the mud out. It appears the pump is pulsating and I notice the gauge pulsates as well from 0 to 5 also

Hayward Superpump has been running like a champ all summer .. that is until last week. On sunday it tripper the circuit breaker and I flipped it back and it started fine. This happened a few more times over the last week and now nothing happens. Any suggestions that I can try and fix myself?

I turned off the pump the night we had a major storm of seven inches of rain. The next morning I tried to turn on the pump and all it does is trip the circuit breaker. It has been two days now and still does not work. The pool furnace and light to the pool work. The pump is on a separate breaker. What do you think is the problem?

Pump is hot and seems the pump will shut off for awhile and than restart after some while. Breaker is not kicked but pump is hot to touch

Motor humming, not hot I just turned it on yesterday for the first time this year. It just hums and nothing more. Solution ?
Pool is an in ground.

The motor comes on then it pops the trips the breaker what could be the problem?
