How long I don’t know, I took a little nap. What would cause the pump to continue to hum even when the switch is in the off position. I had to shut off breaker in the house. Pump was hot when I first noticed pump humming. Could it just be pluged, the motor or is it the pump? What about the switch now that it is in ON positon when turned off or down positon. Like a light switch. Did the switch get burned up and does it need replaced? Thank you, Joan
