When a water heater fails, there are times when it could flood a basement. But the auto shutoff and notification virtually eliminate this. That gives the homeowner time to contact us to repair or replace their water heater without them having to find the water shutoff or fear of them having a mess to clean up. The TankGuard is a great feature as well, but it’s hard to know how well that feature works.
