The Pool Gizmo:
The pool gizmo will get inserted inside of the swimming pool skimmer to prevent the skimmer from cracking of the coarse of the winter. The gizmo screws down inside of the skimmer into the females threads that are built into the skimmer. You will want to hand tighten the gizmo.
The Winter Pool Cover:
The winter swimming pool cover protects your swimming pool and water from all of the harsh elements of the winter season. You should always put the cover on your in ground or above ground pool during the winter. There are several types of winter swimming pool covers including loop loc safety covers, solid winter pool covers and of course automatic pool covers.
The Drain & Skimmer Return Plugs:
The #10 rubber black plug is used to plug up the return fittings inside of your pool. You will always want to plug all the return and vacuum fittings inside of your pool when you are closing the swimming pool.
The Winter Skimmer Plate:
The winter skimmer plate is used on above ground swimming pool only. The skimmer plate gets bolted on to the front of the skimmer so that the water and the ice can not crack the skimmer during the winter. There are two types of protective winter skimmer plates you can get for your swimming pool. You can get the traditional stainless steel winter plate that uses a piece of foam between the plate and the skimmer or you can use an Aquador winter skimmer plate.
