  1. does this catfish run on the bottom of the in ground pool by it self ? or do I need a long pole to push the catfish around the pool ?

  2. I bought a Catfish cleaner last year. It is very convenient to use since it is small and just attaches to a pole.
HOWEVER, and right now this is a big however with me, this year it will not come on, although it was in working order when I stored if last fall. My guess is that it needs a new battery pack, and the manual says “do not attempt to change the battery yourself; take it to a service center.” Well as everyone knows there are a gazillion service centers just waiting to service a $100 pool vacuum cleaner. NOT. So I guess it is worthless now. Any suggestions? Because one season’s use for $100 is not a very glowing recommendation to buy the thing.
    Thanks!

  3. Danny,

    How handy are you?

If you are handy you could just change the battery pack yourself.

Let me know if you are handy and I will let you know where to start,

I will keep an eye out for your response, if you decide to reply and still need help!

  4. We have a pool blaster provided by our swimming pool contractor who is no longer in business, and did not supply us with warranty information, etc. We have been trying to find the company, for a service manual, and replacement parts. Water got into our unit and fried the power source. Can anyone provide us with whom to contact? We are in a very rural area, and as someone else mentioned, a service center is not in order and not needed as all we need is for someone to send us parts. Thank you.

  5. I have a Pool Buster Max that is not working this year. I am handy and would appreciate any guidance on replacing the battery pack.
    Thanks,
    Regina

  6. I too purchased this one year ago and loved it. However after storing the vacuum over the past year it doesn’t work anymore. Where do I take it to fix it? I actually took it apart to see if I could change the batter but there is a wire that is not connected and has caused a short in the entire vacuum. I’m feeling a little ripped off! Any suggestions?

  7. Every ad at various web-sites shows a picture of this cleaner on the pool surface. I have pools skimmers which clean the surface, which is not my need.

Does the catfish submerse for underwater cleaning of the bottom of the pool? If so, I’ll order one today!
