The features of the FireMax 200 are that they offer a Liquid Propane or Natural Gas Water Heater with a BTUH of up to 199,000. The FireMax 200 offers all waterways constructed of stainless steel, copper and brass for 100% complete protection. This water heater has a single point, water, gas and electrical connections.
The FireMax 200 has a Radial Solid Copper Fin Tube Heat Exchanger for an impressive 360-degree heat transfer, making this water heater highly efficient. Plus, the unit comes with all pumps, sensors and controls, factory installed temperature and pressure relief valve and it uses a microprocessor controls for the ultimate use.
The FireMax 200 uses a ¾” NPT gas connection, a 1″ NPT water supply connection and an electrical connection of 120 volts with single phase a 6.2 amps. There are 2 different tank sizes the 120-gallon tank and the 240-gallon tank. The burners are all activated by the flow of the water and the temperature.
The FireMax 400 Water Heater is also single point water, electrical and gas connections. The cabinet and frame of the 400 are made from a durable stainless steel. Like the Firemax 200 it has a ceramic fiber infrared power burner and a radial solid copper fin tube heat exchanger. The Firemax 400 can be used with Natural Gas or Liquid Propane and a 399,980 BTUH or 199,990 per burner. The FireMax 400 Water Heater comes with all of the pumps, sensors and controls you will need plus a factory installed temperature and pressure relief valve.
There are accessories available for both the 400 and the 200. Both Series offer a Factory Authorized and highly recommended Start -Up. If you have a small basement or closet where your water heater is kept, Vanguard Technologies offers a Wall Mount Kit and an EZ Install Kit. You can also look into purchasing a Water Hammer Arrestor, a Water Pressure Gauge, a Reducing Valve, which would be necessary and important if your water pressure exceeds 80 psi.
Standard Equipment on both the FireMax 200 and 400 will include internal bronze stainless re-circulator pump, a solid-state power control and a LED display for easy to read temperature monitoring. The frame, body panels and flue collar will all be made of stainless steel. The stainless steel front panel is easily removable for access to all of the water heaters components. Both water heaters have an energy efficiency rating of 88% plus more room in the storage tanks.
