Niagara Industries is offering a new product to their inventory, the SCR-3 Electronic Tankless Water Heater. What makes this new tankless water heater different than the rest is the QUAD “4 technologies that has an electronic control system that has dual stages of control. This helps keep up with the different varieties of the water flow. This water heater has been designed for homes as well as some commercial applications. This electronic tankless water heater will work well with all modern bathroom fixtures and they all contain the same strong, reliable components such as the Press Balancing Mixing Valve and the Flow Restricted Single Handle Valves. This tankless water heater is said to have more control and better precision than others already on the market. This unit uses 208 volts while other units use 220 volts. All of the components used are made from either Brass and Copper Interior and Steel Casing No. Plastics Used. The flow rate on these units is 4 gallons per minute with a 1/2 inch standard pipe fitting. The pressure requirements on this unit are a minimum of 5 psi and a maximum of 150 psi. The voltage as we stated is a 208-240 volts. The energy efficiency on all of the models in the series is up to 99.5%. There are 2 models, each has the same model number N-160 but uses 12 KW and the other is 16 KW.
The activation on these units are 0.4 gallons per minute on and 3 gallons per minute off. There is a 10 year warranty on the casing on the tankless water heater and a one year warranty on the components. The unit also comes with a dual microtemp sensor and a manual resetable thermostat.
