Bernard Madoff will go down as the worlds largest crook because he stole billions of dollars from many people all over the world. He did this using what they call a ponzi scheme. There have been many mentions of famous people that have lost there money because they invested with Bernard Madoff but that is not the only damage he has done. Bernard Madoff has actually hurt the health of the nation because he stole from some of the great people in the plumbing, heating and steam fitting industry.
In California in a county called Ventura County it seems that more Bernard Madoff victims can be found. The Ventura County Star reports that a local retired plumbing and heating tech named Perry Fox had invested 900,00 dollars with Madoff. Perry is just one of the few hardworking plumbers that lost big time to this ponzi scheme.
Patricia Gerber says: “I Want Him To Burn In Hell”
According to the folks over at WBBM780 Patricia Gerber whom is known because of her marriage to the late Oscar L. Gerber who started Gerber Plumbing Fixtures has been stolen from as well. Patricia Gerber reported that she had lost $120 million dollars because she invested with Bernard Madoff.
Mrs. Gerber plans to sell three houses because of the loss, and says she will downsize. She was also asked if she wanted to say anything to Madoff if she was given then chance and Patricia Gerber said no. Patricia Gerber did say she wanted Mr. Madoff to burn in hell.
Gerber has been a leading company in the plumbing industry for many years. They are known for their high quality faucets and more. The Lake Forest widow Patricia Gerber will hopefully find out where all of her money went as the investigation continues.
