Hi,

1) Above ground pool or in ground?

2) What type of pump and filter?

3) Did you clean the pump basket and also check the impeller for clogs?

4) Has the pump recently overheated or ran dry?

Please let me know the above and I can help further.

There is no pressure on the filter when the pump is running and the pump basket area does not fill all the way. I backwashed it and cleaned the baskets and there is still no pressure. Any ideas......

We replaced the capisitor on the pool pump and it started up fine but when I turned it off to back wash and tried to turn it back on it tripped the breaker and will not come back on. Any suggestions? Please help!

My pool had to much water in it so I turned off the breaker until I could pump some of the water out, now my pump will not come back on, it keeps tripping the breaker,

Hi Lisa.

You can try some two part epoxy commonly sold at places like Lowes, Home Depot or Walmart,

Make sure you epoxy the outer area and the inner area of the crack and allow the epoxy to set as recommended.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

It is the circular part that the motor attaches to. On top is the pipe that leads to water to the cartridge filter system

I have a small crack about 2 inches in the impeller part of the wet end of pool filter system. Is there any product that will just seal this up?
Thanks

Hi Fran,

I would test the capacitor, that could have blown.

Let me know if you need more help.
