Some of the features of the XPak Modulating Condensing Wall Hung Condensing Hydronic Boiler is that it is rated for up to 4:4:1 Modulation. This boiler design has met and exceeds the Energy Star requirements and it has a zero gas valve with a negative pressure gas regulator. This will provide a more flexible installation especially in areas where the gas pressure is low. The XPak has an extruded aluminum heat exchanger. This is a single tube design that is fabricated from 6063-T1 aluminum. The pressure vessel is set fro 45 PSIG and the unit is ASME stamped as well as registered with the National Board.
The XPak Modulating Condensing Wall Hung Condensing Hydronic Boiler from Raypak also offers 2 models, one has a BTU of 87,000 and the second offers a BTUH of 119,500. Each unit has a factory installed 3 speed Grundfos Pump that has a built in bypass system and the pump is thermostatically controlled. Each of these boilers has concentric venting or twin penetrations. They are also designed with a standard configuration, which can be vented by using a 3” CPVC Piping.
These wall hung boilers can be installed either vertically of horizontally depending on your space. Since the boilers are compact in size they use less than 4 square feet of wall space, now you can save money and space with the XPak unit. These boilers are for indoor installations only and they are all CSA certified. The XPak Modulating Condensing Hydronic Boiler offers an easy to read and easy to operate control and diagnostic system. There are 4 digit codes available for easy troubleshooting. This will cut back on the amount of time that a technician will spend trying to figure out the problems.
Both models are electronic direct spark ignitions, designed for safety. The components inside the cabinets are easily accessible and contained in the unit. These units are environmentally friendly, they have low NOx emissions and they meet the requirements set by the SCAQMD. The Raypak XPak can be installed in altitudes up to 5,000 feet without conducting a combustion test. Anything over 5,000 feet should have a combustion test performed for safety. There are 2 options available for both size boilers, the Remote Controls; this is option B-50 and B-51. The second option is a Condensate Neutralizer Kit, which is option Z-12.
