There are three burning stages of the Eko Coal system and they are Stage One: this is when the combustion by products are carried by a special passage located in the back of the element. The secondary air is put in and that tends to favour the completion of the oxidation of the gases. The Stage 2 is when the gases from the back heating element are sent to a large finned, self-cleaning section of the boiler. At the same time, the gases will appear in the third section of the burning stage. The last stage of burning includes the gases traveling directly through the smoke and in the direction of the flue. This is where adjustments are made.
