The package includes the LGS200 Series Omnivore 2 horsepower Grinder Pump, all of the internal parts such as the brackets, floats, guide rails and the discharge piping, the best part is that all of these come pre-fabricated from the factory. All you have to do is install. Some of the features of the 2472 Simplex Grinder Package are that they have a 24″ x 72″ fiberglass casing, which houses the Omnivore Grinder Pump. The tank of the pump is a wounded fiberglass with an anti flotation flange. The Guide Rails are made with a schedule 80 galvanized steel. There is an option of schedule 80 with stainless steel. The base of the guide rail is made from cast iron. The discharge piping uses schedule 80 PVC.
The pump uses a 2 horsepower, oil filled motor. The motor is thermally protected and runs with a 208-230 volt, single-phase motor. The discharge piping size is 1-1/4″. Also included is a Stainless Steel Chair used for pump lifting. The Control Panel is a Model SXH24=3 and it uses a NEMA 4X 230V Simplex Panel. It has three floats with a high water alarm that is both a visual and audio warning. The panel also includes a magnetic motor contractor and circuit breakers.
The Simplex Grinder Package uses a 4″ caulking type inlet hub, the package gas an integral ball check valve. The package has a structural foam cover is about 1000 lbs load rating. The pump and the contents are very well protected by the basin. The purpose of the basin is to provide a longer life for the pump. This system is highly efficient and will save you money.
