The Liberty Pump Series LE-100 has 2 different models available in the single-phase motor style and 3 models in the three-phase motor. In the single phase motor, the motor Model LE102M and a LE102A runs off a 208-230 volt, 8 amps and it is available in both manual and an automatic pump. These two pumps have 2″ flanged dimensions. All molds in the LE-100 Series work on a 1 horsepower and 1725 rpm.
The three phase model LE103M runs a 208-230 volt, 5.3 amps and it is a manual pump, the Model LE104M, runs off a 440-480 volt, runs a 2.5 amperage and it is a manual pump. The Model LE105M volts, 1.9 amps and it is a manual pump.
The motors in the Liberty Pump Series LE-100 is a submersible type and oil filled, so you have to make sure that the pump is checked periodically to make sure it always has oil to prevent it from seizing. The single phase motors are all thermal overload protected inside the windings and will automatically reset when the motor has cooled off. The three phase motors have breakers installed into the control panel, which are correctly sized for the pump’s horsepower and amperage.
The impeller of the pump is made from a cast iron material. It has a 2-vane semi open system. The impeller on the LE-100 has the capacity of passing a solid material about 2″, shaped into a circular design. The seal is made of a durable carbon/ceramic with a BUNA N elastomer, which prevents leaking. While all of the inner workings of the pump are made with strong and durable materials, the outside of the pump includes the volute, pump legs and the motor housing are all made from a heavy gray iron casting.
The pump controls are single phase units can be given with the CAS and the UL approved automatic wide-angle tilt float switch. These pump switches are all equipped with a piggyback style that lets the pump work on a manual operation, which means that the pump doesn’t have to be removed in case it has to be serviced.
The LE100 Series has cast iron housings and the volute with all stainless and brass hardware. The rotor shaft is made from 416 stainless steel, which is pretty strong. The LE100 is available in either a 2″ or a 3″ flanged discharge. You can even set and adjust the pumping range of the pump. The LE100 has a quick disconnect with a standard 10-foot power cord. You can also get the power cord in a 25-foot length as well.
The Liberty Pump LE100 Series is a compact pump in size, it weighs about 64 pounds and is 14.1″ in height and 12-1/2″ in major width.
