How I (Arlene) Used PVC Pipe

I think PVC  pipe is the best thing since indoor plumbing.  I have used it inside and outside of my home.  I have used it for so many things and saved so much money!  My son was studying film making and needed a Camera Dolly built.  Or bought.  Since finances were nil I proposed building one.  Once I figured out what a camera dolly even was,  I saw the use for PVC pipe.  It was a cinch and easy to use. Making a frame with the piping we were able to attach his wheel chair making it roll exactly needed using the PVC for the rails. 

Another fantastic idea and saved a lot of money and gave my house cats a lot of pleasure was to use it to build a cat house complete with a scratching post.  The frame instead of being built with all wood was built with PVC as high as I wanted it.  With a little carpeting and a small piece of plywood it was finished within a couple of hours.

  I left one place open and dangled some toys from it that they bat around.  Even the 22 year old cat of mine was interested in it and for him, I connected a small ramp to the top built with smaller PVC.  

Some quick things that PVC can be used for:  shelving, rods, collecting small things in the workshop, running cords through, running an ice maker line through  and of course,  plumbing!
