Once you have removed the diffuser from inside of the Hayward SuperPump, You will gently want to remove the old diffuser gasket from the pump diffuser. Once the old gasket is removed you will want to clean the surface and then take your new gasket and install it where the old one used to sit. There will be a groove on the diffuser as you can see in the picture.
