Hi Mike,

Open the back of the motor and check for a loose or corroded connection, That is what I would check first.

Let me know if you need more help,

Joseph

I have a Haywood 1HP Flo Pump. It was working fine yesterday. Today, no power, will not turn on. I checked all the connections and circuit breakers. It is only 5 years old. What would cause it to all of a sudden, stop working?

my hayaward motor is about a year old on an inground pool. It is hardwired to the timer. There IS power to the timer and the outlet on the o/s of th timer box. The motor does not run. No noise at all. The light goes on in the pool also, but no motor. We replaced the capacitor and it still wont run. We had a hayward on another aboveground pool and it had a reset swithch. There is not one on this model. Any help???

My toggle switch will not turn off it is stuck in the on position. So I'm having to just plug it in to turn it on and off. Where can I get a new toggle switch to replace it? It is a Hayward Power flo matrix pump.

I have a Hayward power floII.I also have the hayward auto pool cleaner ,the whale, recently the pump doesn't seem to be able to suck enoughwater. It becomes air bound. This just started recently and my pump is 4 seasons old.when I'm not running the cleaher the pump seems to work just fine. Do you think the impeller needs to be replaced? There isn't much to the sytem other than that right? The motor is a 2hp and the model # of the pump is sw15851x20ftlf.

I forgot to mention in my 1st post that the pump is plugged into a 20 amp circuit switched GFI recept. The recpt. test button is functional and is NOT tripping when the pump shuts itself down.
