These water heaters can be installed for either indoor or outside applications but you will need to purchase an outdoor kit if you choose to do the outdoor installation.
The GU20 Eternal Hybrid Water Heater uses ¾†female gas connection with a ¾†female water connection with a range of 15 to 150 psi. For venting you will need a 4†schedule 40 PVC, ABS or CPVC Piping. The gas requirements are for Natural Gas 3.5†to 10.5†W.C and for Liquid Propane 8†to 14†W.C.
