Delta is definitely one of the industry leaders in faucets.
The first faucet I ever installed was a Delta!

It looks like they have done their homework yet again and incorporated some great features into this faucet. One of the problems that many pull out type faucets face is the pull out section does not stay in it's parked position well. Usually they rely on weights on the hose or, springs to keep them in place. Well springs lose their spring and weights on hoses sometimes get caught on obstrutions under the sink. The magnet to lock it in place is a novel idea. Why didn't anyone do this sooner?

The touch technology scares me to some degree. I'm a old fashioned KISS Principle kind of guy in terms of reliability and I do feel like nothing could ever have been better than the old ball, seat and spring that made Delta the workhorse faucet in many kitchens but, I'm looking forward to them teaching this old dog new tricks and will be looking forward to reviewing the tech information for these faucets to embrace the new technology. I do believe we can count on Delta to bring this into being right!
