The Series has a heating capacity of 342,000 Btu’s and 1,852,000 Btu’s per hour. Some of the best features of the Series 24 Boiler are, they have a Hot Water or Steam Application. They also have a choice of Gas, Oil or a Combination of Gas and Oil Applications.
The Series 24 has a Cast Iron Construction of the Heat Exchanger and the Push Nipples too. The Cast Iron construction will protect the boiler from rust and corrosion; pump lubricants and any anti freeze that may get into the system. The C.I nipples are vital because as they heat up they expand and contract at exactly the same rate, so you need something durable to protect the boiler sections from leaking. Also available for the Series 24 Commercial Boiler is a Tankless Heater that is available on Domestic Hot Water Systems. These are perfect for boiler rooms that don’t have a lot of space. When you use a Tankless heater, it is more to your advantage because it contains a finned copper coil, which heats water fast, and the piping on this system is easier to install.

In addition to the tankless water heater option, you will also get a variety of venting options. The Series 24 is a forced draft boiler system that is designed to get rid of the use of the high chimney or any draft inducers. The Series 24 can either be vented from the top or the back; either provides a maximum amount of flexibility to installation. Some of the other features of the Series 24 is that they offer a rear cover that includes a flame observation port and a plugged tapping for reading over the fire draft readings. The controls are front mounted to the boiler, which make inspections, adjustments and maintenance easier. Unlike other boiler companies, Crown Boilers lets you choose from a Beckett Oil Burner or a Beckett Gas Burner.
All models in the Series 24 come with the boiler sections unassembled, a flush insulation jacket, a burner mounting plate and a burner adapter plate. You will also get the rear flue damper, flue canopy and a target wall with miscellaneous plugs and hardware. For Steam Trim System you will see a 15-PSI Safety Valve, a gauge glass assembly, a steam gauge and a pressuretrol device. With a Water Trim Boiler you will get a 30-PSI Safety Relief Valve, a High Limit Switch and a Pressure Temperature Gauge. If you are using the boiler for an Oil Boiler, the boiler comes with a flanged mounted flame retention boiler with a 2-stage fuel unit and a primary control with 2 oil valves. The Gas Boilers will come as a flanged mounted burner with standard boiler controls, dual gas valves and an electronic ignition.
