This toilet is equipped with 4 people full time use and unlike other toilets this toilet comes with a 12VDC Fan. It comes with a Drain Tube, which will help the BioLet 30 NE remove any excess liquids. Due to the 30 NE Non-Electric Toilet having no water, you will save money on both electricity and water.
The BioLet 30 NE Non Electric Composting Toilet is a fully self-contained toilet that has full disclosure of the waste. You may be wondering where the waste goes. There are containers that are stored in the bottom of the toilet. As the waste is deposited it will sit in the container (there is a fan so there won’t be any odor) and when the container is full which is about every 2 months to a year. This will depend on how often the toilet is used and how many people use it. Then you will remove the container and simply dispose of the waste in a compost container. You can put back into the earth and this makes the BioLet 30 NE Non Electric Composting Toilet one of the most environmentally friendly toilets in the world.
Horrible horrible customer service and no one anywhere seems to understand enough of how the work to help when they break.
Have you tried contacting Biolet directly? I was able to at least talk to someone there. We are just installing one, I sure hope it goes better than you indicate.
My Biolet 30NE is a total bust. The ads leave out the 64 degree temperature limitation, so if you can not heat the ambient space even in the summer months, it does not really work even with a fan. Also, the drain hole is well above the bottom of the toilet bowl, allowing buildup of urine which turns rancid and very smelly. I suggest one build a really super, gold-plated outhouse for the $1400.00. PU, Charlie
