You really need a swimming pool cover pump that automatically shuts off, so it will not overheat and become damaged by warped plastic, and you can leave it running overnight safely in a heavy rainstorm. The pool cover pumps without automoatic shutoff will require frequent attention and will become damaged by overheating when the water level drops below the motor level and so there is no water cooling. Therefore, please advise your customers of this issue and also advise them of the most reasonable automatic shutoff pool cover pumps.

I have A Economy A5020 That runs and stops ,if I had tap it a few times it will run for a while then stop again. Are there repair kits for this type of equipment I hate to just throw it out.
